Allen West calls media out for ‘softball’ treatment of Obama

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West used a recent appearance on Fox News’ “On the Record” to call out the media for its soft treatment of President Obama. West’s comments came when host Greta Van Susteren’s asked his thoughts on Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin Carson’s recent speech on taxes and health care.

“I think that we cannot continue to go on believing that all we can do is ask the president what his favorite color is and continue to have these softball interviews,” West said, adding later that “we have to start standing up and challenging the president.”

You have to do more than say; ''ask him(Obama) soft ball questions'' Abc,cbs, nbc, cnn, and others are actually assisting him, and that means total destruction of America, ….followed by a very long civil war.

West was the same guy afraid to come on my show. He has little credibility.

Guess he only goes on shows that someone has heard of.

He did a great job against a nobody who had an arrest record and one fifth the money for his campaign. You are right he doesn't need any more publicity.

I really admire Mr West. He has the brains, but picked the wrong people to get him where he could have been. He threw down the gauntlet with some of his speeches and wreaped the tornado of negative press. It ultimately shot his political career. He is a lot like many ex-military personnel. So smart, yet so dumb. They know leadership, but actually expect support and backup from their associates. He chose the Teabaggers. 'nough said. He tried to go after the left of the GOP and all of the Democratic Party and was left out in the cold. He became "baggage". I would blame his advisors and the advice he got from his party. He could have mellowed in office and planned for the long fight by coming up with reasonable, possible solutions to this country's problems. Instead, he kept throwing crazy bombs (Walsh), and going down the tubes. He will do well. He will "hit the ground running" and get his new career going. You don't get to be a senior officer in the US Army without the smarts to be successful. Be careful of FOX. You might be too big to fit in their clown car.

Having watched many speeches, I find all of the words are not coming from the mouth of Obama but from sly glances at prompt lines .Perhaps there is more mischief in the backers and followers of Obama than meets the eye .If you analise what he is intending to do and then place a backer behind the words you will probably discover from his very beginning as President he is the mouth of their buisinesses and wealth. This flows on to wealth for himself , as kick back .Keeps him and them wealthy and it solves the backers problems and his as well .Study the moves he makes, list the backers, and see if there is a connection .You will probably find one for each decision made .Its just a thought
