It didn’t bother President Obama one bit that Mohamed Morsi, while running for president, was the leader of Egypt’s jihadist Muslim Brotherhood organization. Obama didn’t blink when, as president, Morsi abolished what was left of his country’s constitution and destroyed its judiciary. Obama ignored Morsi’s cohorts when they threatened Israel. It was no big deal when Egyptian mobs, on Sept. 11, 2012, were permitted to scale the walls of the U.S. embassy in Cairo, tear down the U.S. flag and burn it for all the world to see. Apparently, all these “good deeds” earned Egypt a gift from Obama of 20 of America’s top fighter planes and 200 of our most sophisticated tanks. Of course, Egypt is threatened by … whom?
Now we see pictures of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad being welcomed at the Cairo airport, being embraced and hugged by none other than Morsi. What evil plans these two Islamists are concocting against America and Israel can only be imagined with a shudder and streams of sweat running down our backs. The sands of time will drop very slowly over the next four years.
