Take our poll: Should Ann Romney run for John Kerry’s Senate seat in Massachusetts?

The buzz in Massachusetts has quickly become a national conversation. Should Ann Romney consider running for the Senate seat vacated by John Kerry?

Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown’s announcement Friday that he would not seek the seat vacated by John Kerry after his November loss to Elizabeth Warren surprised and upset Massachusetts Republican leaders. It also set some to thinking outside the box — way outside the box. Their thoughts are now turning to a Sen. Romney — specifically, a Sen. Ann Romney.

Boy, I hope so! That would really be fun. Maybe Sarah Palin could help her. Besides, there is a bunch of billionaires looking for a new game.

  2. John carr says:

I hope she does. New blood and honest .

Is she a resident of Mass. ? Not that she couldn't become one; but why become a resident of one of the most tax happy states in the US. I'm not sure if Romney is a resident of NH. or not. She needs that job like a hole in the head. Are you people for real ?

    1. Shirley K says:

We need people who care about us- not their pockets. Ann would be great.

  4. John A says:

Pray tell how does the Senator from Mass. affect us here in Fl.? Ann is a very warm and caring person. She does not need to get involved with the jackels and snakes in the Senate.

She is too classy for the likes of most denizens of Massachusettes. Lliberal birdbrains prefer their candidates to be either dim-witted, sleazy or tilted so far left they can only walk in circles. That disqualifies her right there. Besides, she is not a healthy woman and I'm sure she and her husband are taking it easy for a while. And of course not having any native American blood in her veins is another drawback to what Taxachusettes voters prefer in their senators. The Romneys should put that goofy state in their rear view mirror and head for some fresh air!

  6. Ted says:

Ann Romney would be less qualified to be a US Senator than Mr Romney to be President. Just the fact that so many people think she could actually do the job, seems to indicate that some people didn't learn tha Sarah Palin lesson, namely, that she didn't have enough to work with. Some people never learn.

    1. Susan says:

So what! Look at that joke in the POTUS position. Since when do "qualifications" matter? Morality first for a CHANGE!

    2. Linda says:

Mitt Romney is a heck of alot more qualified to be President than Obama is. He doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Anyone that can't see that from what is happening to this country is just blinded by the "Freebies".. Those too must end..SOON!!!

  7. D. W. Skinner says:

the best thing is for the disgusting Romney's to disappear from politics.
