A disabled Bogart, Georgia war veteran sent a burglar who had entered his home off running, according to Atlanta Fox 5 News.
Mark Sikes was lying in bed watching TV when he heard a loud bang at the door. He reached down into his bedside table drawer and pulled out his handgun. When the intruder saw Sikes with the gun drawn and pointed at him, he hightailed it out of the vet’s home.
Korean War veteran Sikes had one piece of advice for the burglar: “Find something else to do besides out trying to rob people. Because you came real close to losing your life yesterday.”
