Spring City, Utah, a town of less than 1,000 people, is encouraging its citizens to take forearm courses and arm themselves rather than restrict gun ownership like so many others.
Neil Sorensen, a Spring City councilman, appeared on America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer, and explained that the town is taking this action in response to the gun violence that has occurred throughout the U.S.
This isn’t as new an idea as you may think. Kennesaw, Georgia passed a similar ordinance two decades ago, and experienced a noticeable drop in crime as a result.
