It seems everyone is taking a shot at Al Gore’s sale of Current TV to Al Jazeera. During an interview with Current’s Joy Behar on Friday, NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno asked, “Osama bin Laden is your new boss?”
Making light of the subject, Behar responded, “Current TV was bought by Al Jazeera, yes. To me it’s like Al Gore, Al Jazeera, Al Pacino. It’s all the same thing to me…I’m learning Farsi, you know.”
“I heard Glenn Beck tried to buy Current TV,” Leno said.
“Yes,” replied Behar. “That would have been a nightmare.”
When asked about working for Beck, Behar responded, “That would be like, you know, let’s say David Letterman bought NBC. How would you like it?”
