NASA scientists have been shooting down the Mayan Apocalypse theory that  the world will end in 2012 for a long time, but they have gone a step further to help the general public understand why they should still buy Christmas gifts this year.
The Dec. 21st 2012 date the Mayan calendar predicts will be the last will come and go like any other according to the video. The video titled ‘Why The World Didn’t End Yesterday’ debunks the Mayan prophesy and was meant to be released on Dec. 22.
‘If you’re watching this video, it means one thing: the world didn’t end yesterday,” the clip begins.
But NASA decided to release the film early as the hype about the “end of the world” ratchets up approaching the Dec. 21st date.
