You’re so vain: Jill Kelley’s vanity license plate

South Korea is set to strip Tampa socialite Jill Kelley of her meaningless title of “honorary consul” for reportedly using the title inappropriately for “personal gain.”

Kelley, of course, is the woman who former CIA Director David Petraeus’ mistress, Paula Broadwell, targeted with insanely jealous and threatening emails. The woman who reported those emails to her FBI agent friend, who had sent her topless pictures of himself in an unrelated matter. And the same woman who exchanged 20,000-plus pages of flirtatious emails with Gen. John Allen, America’s top commander in Afghanistan. It’s exhausting being Mrs. Kelley.

“Kelley’s role is to serve as a liaison between the Atlanta consulate and the Korean community in Florida,” TJ Kim, a representative from the South Korean embassy in Washington, D.C., told Politico. “Because she was given the title in August, she hasn’t yet done much in the actual role.”

ABC News reported how Kelley had met New York businessman Adam Victor in August and offered to help broker a multibillion-dollar coal gasification deal directly with the South Korean president in exchange for a 2 percent commission.

Victor told ABC News that Kelley’s fee would have been approximately $80 million, which he found “ridiculous,”  and told her so: “The suggested fee you have asked for is so out of market, I have no way of working out any acceptable deal with you. You should not contact anyone on our behalf.”

Smack.

It gets better. USA Today reported Kelley name-dropped her title in a 911 call regarding media trespassing at her home:

I’m an honorary consul general, so I have inviolability, so they should not be able to cross my property. I don’t know if you want to get diplomatic protection involved as well, because that’s against the law to cross my property because, you know, it’s inviolable.

Wow. I’m not a psychiatrist, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but this woman seems to be an egotistical megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur. Seriously, what part of “honorary,” “symbolic,” “no diplomatic protection for you” does this woman not understand?

Hey, Mrs. Kelley, here is a diplomatic title for you: persona non grata.
