Kick me if I ever again demean the Kings Point community in Delray Beach. I found out today that it is no longer in the lunatic Democratic camp. The community has miraculously been transformed into an intelligent, outspoken group of Americans. They think! And they have no fear of telling you of their fears of another four years of Obama.
The story unfolds when I received a phone call from an ex-Russian living in that development who wanted to become more politically active. She came to this country from a dictatorship and did not want to run into the same problem with an Obama regime, which she identifies as having the same attributes of the Stalinist totalitarian government. She organized about 10 similar refugees, and together with Dmitri Levin, we met and planned a sign-waving event at the Kings Point shopping center. We had planned for the worst, with the order not to get involved in shouting matches, pushing or shoving.
But what we got made us jump for joy. Of about 100 entering and leaving the Bagel Tree eatery in that plaza, we ran into only two Democrats and loads and loads of Romney supporters. They stopped to talk to us, to congratulate us and to support us with their views of the Ryan/Biden debate. They were militant and fearless. They criticized the proprietors of the Bagel Tree for calling the Sheriff’s Office to remove us from the plaza. Not too good of an idea for a business in that community.
We walked away happy, knowing that the once-liberal, Democratic community of Kings Point is no longer a supporter of an Israel-hating political party. We will continue to visit that community in order to solidify the citizens to vote for the candidate and not the party. If we do that successfully, we will have a safer, stronger, more democratic nation for our kids and grandkids.
