Crossroads new TV ad blasting Bill Nelson for slashing Medicare

American Crossroads today launched a new television ad in Florida targeting Bill Nelson’s deciding vote for ObamaCare, which cut Medicare spending and empowers unelected bureaucrats to determine future Medicare coverage.

The new 30-second ad, which is supported by a $1.8 million buy, will run on local broadcast and cable stations in Florida for one week. Titled “Where,” the spot can be viewed here:

“Florida seniors need to look no further than Bill Nelson for massive cuts to Medicare spending and enabling a roomful of unelected bureaucrats to decide the type of care they should receive,” said Nate Hodson, American Crossroads director of state and regional media relations. “Re-electing Bill Nelson to the U.S. Senate would be disastrous for Florida’s seniors and the Medicare coverage they need.”

Bill Nelson cast the 60th vote for ObamaCare, which put into motion a government takeover of health care. ObamaCare cuts more than $700 billion in Medicare spending and gives unelected bureaucrats the power to restrict seniors’ care.
