U.S. Congressman Allen West spent a few minutes clarifying his position on abortion Friday in response to what he called lies from his opponent, Patrick Murphy.
Murphy’s latest television ad begins with the accusation that West supports a ban on abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest.
Not so, according to West. He went on to make a passionate argument for why he is pro-life.
West and Murphy are vying for the 18th Congressional District, which includes Palm Beach and Martin counties, primarily.
