Republican Congressman Allen West called in the army today to work his campaign — his conservative, grass-roots army, that is.
In his latest campaign email, West calls on volunteers from all over the country to join his door-to-door get-out-the-vote effort from Nov. 1 to Election Day, Nov. 6.
The email says West will “provide lodging, meals and transportation around the district (if you choose to fly in).”
There’s no doubt the West Palm Beach-to-Fort Pierce area will soon be flooded with West volunteers.
The only question I have is if Florida’s 18th Congressional District will have enough food, water and lodgings for the throngs of West supporters sure to answer the call.
