DOJ accused of bullying Gallup after unfavorable poll

Gallup, the oldest polling organization in America and arguably that industry’s gold standard, is being sued by the U.S. Department of Justice. The suit came within a few months of a dust-up between Gallup and the Obama campaign’s David Axelrod over polling results unfavorable to the president.

Although the suit is unrelated to the poll itself, it nonetheless involves a former Obama campaign staffer in an almost three-year old employment dispute that, prior to the unfavorable poll, was going nowhere.

FOX News anchor Shannon Bream interviews GOP pollster Chris Wilson and Attorney Brian Claypool.

The Daily Caller originally broke the story.
