When politicians misspeak, it usually means they have opened a door to their true thoughts and feelings. Sometimes they don’t have to misspeak. Sometimes they intentionally and openly open that door.
Addressing a small gathering yesterday in Albany, Ga at the Greater 2nd Mt. Olive Sports Complex, the mouth of U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., ran unabated as she discussed hatred and racism in America. She said the world hated “racist America” until Obama was elected, and went on to claim that afterwards, the tea party brought “a message of hatred. That was the message of ‘we don’t like the fact that there’s an African-American in the White House.”
