In a recent post, “Susan Bucher causes scene at redistricting hearing,” BizPacReview reporter Cheryl Klimek quoted Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher as saying, “I am your elections partner; I will continue,” in response to state Sen. Don Gaetz advising Bucher that her allotted speaking time had run out.
Bucher recently asserted that she had been misquoted and urged BPR to review the video of the event.
That we did, and Bucher was right. What she said was, “I’m your election partner, I’d like to complete.”
We regret the error.
