Orlando Political Press Goes To Washington

Orlando Political Press

Seems a litle quiet around here, huh?

The Orlando Political Press crew is in Washington, DC for the congressional inauguration today, at the invite of Congressman-elect Dan Webster.

We spent Tuesday evening with our new Congressman, along with Congressman Posey (R-FL15), touring the U.S. Capitol with noted historian David Barton. An opportunity that does not present itself every day and just cannot be passed up!

We also met with Congresswoman Sandy Adams yesterday, who graciously interrupted her day to visit with us. Ms. Adams was hard at work reviewing legislation when we stopped in. It looks as if the residents of FL-D24 will get their money’s worth from their new representative.

I will not jump the gun, but expect some welcoming announcements from Adams here in the coming weeks.

We have a full schedule and very limited access to the Internet, so content will be very limited on OPP for the next two days. We will be back at it full time on Friday and will share our experiences in detail.
