One has to wonder when was the last time the U.S. Constitution has been read on the floor of the House?
Along with the proposed rule change requiring lawmakers to provide constitutional authority for every bill, we can only hope that this sudden emphasis by the GOP on the Constitution is than just window dressing.
After the past two years, what an incredible difference we’re seeing already, though! Constitution? Are you serious?
The joy of this wonderful season is about new beginnings and the eternal promise of redemption. We Americans have the immeasurable benefit, the providential gift, of having inherited a great country.
We must never forget its confidence, optimism and promise, its endless capacity for renewal, are contained in our dedication to the enduring principles of liberty with which all men are endowed by their Creator.

For an overwhelming number of Americans who celebrate Christmas, Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
New Rasmussen Reports polling finds that 87% of Americans celebrate Christmas in their family, and 70% of that group recognize it as a religious holiday celebrating the birth of Christ rather than a secular one.
The YouTube videos, posted Nov. 28, show what the pilot calls the irony of flight crews being forced to go through TSA screening while ground crew who service the aircraft are able to access secure areas simply by swiping a card.
“As you can see, airport security is kind of a farce. It’s only sme and mirrors so you people believe there is actually something going on here,” the pilot narrates.

As 2010 winds down, I am excited about the way people in this country spe up and voiced their opinion this fall during the fall elections.
On the other hand, I am saddened by what I see is a lack of understanding from the current administration as to the root of Americas’ problems. It seems the current administration has no idea of what the people want but rather a clear agenda of what they think is best for us.
As the lame duck session just proved, they still do not listen.
Actually, this plays into the old states rights adage that people will vote with their feet, meaning they will relocate to friendly environs when their current state becomes too burdensome.
This also reinforces the idea that excessive taxation smothers free enterprise and diminishes growth. Could it be that we troublesome conservatives are actually right in our economic theories? Perish the thought!

ORLANDO, FL – Grassroots air boycott effort We Won’t Fly is organizing another educational demonstration on the main ticketing level at the Orlando International Airport on Thursday, December 23rd, between 4 and 7 PM to protest the use of recently-installed “porno scanners” at security checkpoints.
Demonstrations are also planned for numerous other airports around the country. A similar demonstration held last month drew international attention.
This nation was founded on a healthy distrust of government, rightfully so. The key difference between Europe and America is in Europe, the people are servants of the government, here, the people are masters over the government.
It was Thomas Jefferson who said, “The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.”
Even with the boom slowing, Florida still grew 17 percent in the last decade and will gain additional congressional clout, getting two seats in Congress, Census officials announced Tuesday.
Now slated to hold 27 seats in the 435 member House, Florida continues a trend that began in 1930 by gaining at least one congressional seat during each of the past nine decennial redistributions of political power in a nation that continued to grow to the west and south.
