This Friday I had the privilege of addressing a standing room only crowd at the “Take Back America” rally in Orlando with Dick Morris. If you aren’t familiar with him, he was a former Clinton adviser and is now a Fox News Contributor who has been drawing attention to vulnerable members of Congress who have failed their constituents and deserve to lose their jobs. Representative Corrine Brown is one of those members.

After looking at our poll numbers and seeing the effort we have made, Morris has been promoting our race as a winnable seat and one to watch. You can find video links of our speeches on my website.

Corrine Brown is to blame for taking our district and nation further into crisis. Polls show we are only a few points away from the biggest political upset of 2010. I not only can win, I will with your help.  

In order to execute our campaign plan, we must make ad buys right away. We need as much money as possible and my initial challenge to you is to raise $25,000 for this campaign over the next 3 days. There isn’t time to waste; absentee ballots are being mailed now and early voting starts on October 18th.

My Plan for this District is resonating and winning the approval of countless voters. Over the past few weeks thousands of citizens from every corner of this district have reached out to me to express their concerns about the challenges that have plagued our district for nearly 20 years and to thank me for presenting real leadership and solutions. Over the final few weeks of our campaign, outside interests will attempt to label me, lie about my record, and discourage you from voting for me. However, I will not abandon my principles or the district I love. We deserve a fighter in Washington who knows our district both urban and rural and if you stand by me I will keep fighting for you. Some say this can’t be done, but your contribution and your vote have never been more important. Let’s make history.
