Florida Governor: Scott (R) 41%, Sink (D) 36%, Chiles (I) 8%

The first Rasmussen Reports post-primary survey of the Florida governor’s race finds Republican Rick Scott and Democrat Alex Sink in a close contest.

Scott, the winner of Tuesday’s bruising GOP Primary, earns the support of 41% of ly Voters in the state, while Sink picks up 36% of the vote. Independent Bud Chiles runs a distant third with eight percent (8%). Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and nine percent (9%) are undecided.

Several local conservative activists participated in a recent ad shoot by Americans for Prosperity to send a clear message to Representatives Alan Grayson and Suzanne Kosmas that their support of Nancy Pelosi’s failed liberal policies will be remembered in November.

Christina Gomez, Duane Coffey and Mickey Spencer, all from Central Florida, were used in the ad to draw attention to AFP’s ‘November Is Coming’ campaign designed to inform elected officials, policymakers, and candidates know that they should not support big government programs or any other freedom-killing policies.
