PATRICIA SULLIVAN LEADS IN THE THREE LATEST POLLS

Patricia Sullivan Is Handed the WIN by Voters Wanting to Put Government Back Into the Hands of the People

EUSTIS, FL – Patricia Sullivan wins! Tuesday, the South Lake 912 Tea Party released the results of their multicounty poll and Patricia Sullivan led by 6 percentage points over her closest opponent. Tuesday night, Patricia Sullivan won the 10th Annual Leadership Lake County Hob Nob Straw Poll again by nearly 6 percentage points. Then Wednesday, the Tri-County Tea Party released their Poll results announcing Patricia Sullivan as the District 8 Winner! Each poll surveyed a non-partisan cross section of the public regarding their selection for the 2010 Primary and General elections. What do these votes mean? The results confirm the voters are ready to transfer power away from the incumbents, the power brokers, the elitists, and back to “We the People”.

Patricia Sullivan stated, “The South Lake 912 Tea Party’s mission statement is ‘to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy, consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets’. With that kind of mission, I am not surprised, however am honored their membership chose me as the candidate who would be representative of our values”.

The Leadership Lake County Hob Nob organizers said the event has become a regular venue for candidates in county, state, and national races to meet with voters. Over 460 voters seeking to meet candidates and become informed attended Last night’s event. The Right Side of the Lake blog stated that “Lake County’s Patricia Sullivan led a 10-person field … defeating Alan Grayson, her potential Democrat opponent, by nearly 11%. This was probably the most stunning results of the night, considering Sullivan has been out spent enormously by all of her rivals. The self-proclaimed “Mama Grizzly” is mounting a serious grassroots campaign through the internet, and it appears she’s developed a passionate “Patriots Army” that is coming out to vote. Her closest rival, Kurt Kelly, lost by 5% of the vote; and, Republican establishment candidate, Daniel Webster, lost by nearly 12% to Sullivan.  It appears the only female candidate for this seat is tapping into an enthusiastic Tea Party movement, and Sullivan could be a huge force in a deep field of candidates. Keep an eye on this one; this could get very interesting very quick.” “Lake County voters overwhelmingly chose to put government back in the hands of the people. Our grassroots campaign continues to educate and encourage engagement in the political process.  In District 8, the people are winning!” said Patricia.
