NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his “foremost” mission as the head of America’s space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.
The Olive Branch Petition was adopted by the Continental Congress on July 5, 1775 in an attempt to avoid a full-blown war with Great Britain. The petition affirmed American loyalty to Great Britain and entreated the king to prevent further conflict.
The petition was rejected, and in August 1775 the colonies were formally declared in rebellion by the Proclamation of Rebellion.

Editor’s Note – A clear example of the Florida Legislature kicking the can down the road. Florida is going to see some serious financial shortfalls in the next year or two, of which, is no secret to those who’ve been elected to represent the interests of the citizens of this state.

Law Enforcement Executive Endorses Craig Miller
Seminole County Republican Craig Miller, candidate for District 24’s U.S. Congressional Seat, today announced that he has been endorsed by Vince Champion, who is recognized as one of Central Florida’s top law enforcement professionals. Champion was a 22-year police officer with the Ormond Beach Police Department and currently serves as the President of the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association, which represents police officers in Brevard, Volusia, and Seminole counties.
