Orlando Republican Women’s Network Gives Kurt Kelly Another Win in Orange County
Wins Fifth Consecutive Republican Straw Poll in Congressional District 8
Orlando- The Orlando Republican Women’s Network gave Kurt Kelly, conservative small businessman, his fifth consecutive straw poll victory and another big win in Orange County yesterday. With seven candidates in the race for Congressional District 8, Kelly won 40% of the votes cast during Sunday’s rally.
“The support that I received at the Orlando Republican Women’s Network reflects that the people of district 8 do not want career politicians or hand-picked candidates,” said Kelly. “We must elect the right conservative who can beat Alan Grayson.”

Kurt Kelly previously won the straw polls at the OCYR, Northwest Orange Republican Women Federated, Marion Republican Business Council, and OCYR Hob Nob.
Kelly currently serves District 24 in the Florida House of Representatives. He is challenging Alan Grayson for the District Eight Congressional seat. Kelly has recently been endorsed by the Associated Industries of Florida, the Eagle Forum, and Congressman Cliff Stearns.
