83 Days And Counting – Gulf Oil Disaster
It has now been 83 days since the explosion on the Horizon Deep Water Oil Rig explosion and the mismanagement of the aftermath by the Obama administration has been staggering.
In fact, this has gotten so bad that even the usually complicit left wing media is turning on Obama. The best example yet that elections do indeed have consequences.
With the primaries quickly approaching (August 24), we’ll soon know who is running against Suzanne Kosmas in District 24.
Whether Sandy Adams (whom I’m supporting) or one of the other challengers wins, the message point is simple: Suzanne’s principled stand against Obamacare was purchased by one 15 minute conversation that accomplished nothing.

Feinberg to meet with Crist and locals Monday in Pensacola

Kenneth Feinberg, the Obama administration’s oil spill claims czar, has scheduled a meeting in Pensacola on Monday to listen to locals and talk about how the $20 billion set aside for the claims process will be spent. Gov. Charlie Crist is planning to attend.

A North Carolina pastor was relieved of his duties as an honorary chaplain of the state house of representatives after he closed a prayer by inving the name of Jesus.
“I got fired,” said Ron Baity, pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He had been invited to lead prayer for an entire week but his tenure was cut short when he refused to remove the name Jesus from his invocation.
