Kelly Blasts Grayson for Proposing that Paid Vacations are a Right for all Americans
OCALA, Fla. (May 28, 2010) – Conservative small businessman Kurt Kelly, a candidate for Florida’s Eighth Congressional District, blasted Alan Grayson for his recent statement that paid vacations are a right for all Americans.
“Alan Grayson continues to be out of touch with reality. This time following Europe’s lead by claiming that paid vacations are a right just as freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and the freedom of religion are rights. In today’s challenging times, the last thing we need to do to our business community is to impose more mandates on them especially in the wake of the recent passage of the Obama-Reid-Pelosi government-run health care program. ,” said Kelly.
Kelly currently serves district 24 in the Florida House of Representatives. He is challenging Alan Grayson for the district eight congressional seat. Kelly has recently been endorsed by the Associated Industries of Florida, Congressman Cliff Stearns, Florida House Speaker Larry Cretul and elected officials from Orange, Lake, Osceola, Marion Counties and from throughout the state.
