Trump calls ‘VERY jealous’ ‘Mr. Kellyanne Conway’ the ‘husband from hell’ in biting tweet

President Donald Trump punched back at Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George, on Twitter on Wednesday morning, calling him a “stone cold loser” and the “husband from hell” and saying Conway has been taking swipes at him because he “didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted.”

This morning’s tweet followed another from late yesterday, when Trump retweeted his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and added “A total loser!” in reference to Conway.

The president’s tweets were in response to Conway’s tweets this week calling the president a narcissist, and saying he’s “unfit and incompetent” for the job he “temporarily” holds, part of a bizarre eruption of insults that the husband of one of the president’s closest advisers has issued over the last several months.

Last week, Conway flew into a rage over the president’s comments that the case against Paul Manafort showed there was no collusion with Russia, calling it “an absurd lie.”

George Conway is a Republican lawyer based in New York who once represented Paula Jones in the case against President Clinton. He married pollster and political consultant Kellyanne (Fitzpatrick) in 2001, and the couple has four children — three girls and a boy.

Conway first went nuclear on the president in November of 2018, when he announced he had taken his name out of consideration for the job of Assistant Attorney General to head the civil division at the Department of Justice.

In an interview that month, he called the administration a “sh**show in a dumpster fire” and complained about the president’s comments that he (Conway) had Russian on his mind.

Conway had reportedly also been considered for the job of Solicitor General, in 2017, but had been passed over for that position.

On Wednesday morning, Conway shot back at the president, as part of a bizarre exchange between a sitting U.S. president and a disgruntled lawyer that could not take place but for the existence of Twitter: “You seem determined to prove my point. Good for you! #NarcissisticPersonalityDisorder,” he tweeted, adding, “You. Are. Nuts.”

Kellyanne Conway, a counselor to the president who was also the president’s third and final campaign manager, who took him through the home stretch to a remarkable upset win in November 2016, has remained mum on the dispute.
