The National Portrait Gallery, which houses the portraits of former presidents and their wives, made the decision to move Obama’s portrait so more people could see it at a time.

“We’re always changing things up here. Due to the high volume of visitors, we’ve relocated Michelle Obama’s portrait to the 3rd floor in our 20th-Century Americans galleries for a more spacious viewing experience,” the Portrait Gallery said in a tweet on March 9.

More people have been visiting the museum in light of the Obama’s portraits, according to the Smithsonian. Over 175,000 people came to visit in February.

“We have come so far,” Obama said at the unveiling. “And yes, as we see today, we still have a lot of work to do. But we have every reason to be hopeful and proud.”
