Roseanne Barr trolled the Oscars by urging her Twitter followers who boycotted the anti-Trump Academy Awards to read her tweets instead.
Barr, an outspoken conservative, made some hilarious observations and promoted the upcoming reboot of “Roseanne,” the hit ABC TV series she starred in from 1988 to 1997 (see trailer below).
Barr kicked off her Oscars tweet storm by saying: “If u r boycotting oscar tonight, just read my tweets instead.” She has since deleted the tweet, but we captured the screenshot.
Barr said she most looked forward to seeing her “Roseanne” co-star Laurie Metcalf, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for “Lady Bird.” Metcalf did not win, as the Oscar went to Allison Janney for the movie “I, Tonya.”
Barr also said she couldn’t wait to see the promo commercial for her “Roseanne” revival, which returns for a 10th season on March 27.

At one point, Roseanne mocked Trump-hating actress Salma Hayek, whose gown “looks like a prom dress from Walmart.”
