NYT features Joy Reid as ‘Heroine of the Resistance’ for opposing Trump

To the surprise of few, The New York Times is heralding MSNBC’s resident race-baiter Joy Reid as “a heroine of the resistance.”

Resistance to President Donald Trump, of course; the only real requirement to be seen as a heroine on the left.

Reid is celebrated in a Times feature that serves as a beacon to all Trump-hating media personalities that this too can be you, if you prove to be sufficiently drunk on Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Never mind a long laundry list of lies and distortion from this MSNBC talking head.

“Our prime directive is to constantly remind people that this is not normal and not to allow it to become mundane,” Reid is quoted in the puff-piece.

“This” being a Republican in the White House.

Of course, no feature on Reid can overlook the recent controversy of her homophobic, gay-shaming slam of Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Fla., who she smeared as “Miss Charlie” a few years back, trying to “out” the politician — he has been married twice, to women.

Crist was a Republican then, but now that he has gone over to the dark side, Reid felt compelled to apologize.

The Times noted that apology and was quick to share that Crist accepted it. The paper then excused her actions by intimating that “in today’s polarized political climate, everything is fodder for critics and opponents.”

The latest example of the type of journalism viewers can expect to see on the race-baiting MSNBC host’s weekend show centered on the notoriously violent MS-13 gang.

After President Trump featured the families of teens killed by MS-13 members, many of whom are in the US illegally, Reid responded by trying to neutralize the message, claiming that MS-13 is not a problem in America, unless you watch Fox News.

A claim that could be debunked within 10 seconds on Google.

But this is the type of biased, irresponsible journalism viewers can expect from Reid… when she’s not busy attacking white Anglo-Saxon male conservatives in America.

Reid has discovered that the more she attacks Trump, the more popular she gets on the left. Ratings are up on her weekend show, which serves as a remnant of a weekday show she once had that was canceled because of a lack of interest — pre-Trump.

Perhaps the president is right, he is the best thing to ever happen to the liberal media.
