With political polarization at record levels and controversy over the release of a Top Secret memo by Republicans at a fever-pitch, President Trump is gearing up for his 2018 State of the Union address.
In other words, the pressure is on.
Democrats have already declared they will use the President’s moment to grandstand on their pursuit to protect illegal immigrants at all costs, and openly defy Trump’s America-First agenda.
More than 20 House Democrats are expected to bring illegal “DREAMers” and victims of sexual assault to the President’s speech Tuesday night, ABC reported. But many conservatives, including firebrand Ann Coulter, think that might work out just fine.
“I’ve also heard they’re planning on inviting illegal aliens. So Jeff Sessions better be ready to arrest all of them for conspiring to commit a crime, which I believe is a felony under federal law in all 50 states, even if the crime itself is not a felony,” Coulter said in a radio interview with conservative host, Howie Carr.
Coulter continued by stating that arresting illegal immigrants wouldn’t be enough.
“I mean, they had to have meetings, they had to make a phone call. These are people who are in the country illegally and anyone conspiring with them to keep them here illegally, to invite them to a State of the Union address, Jeff Sessions should have them all arrested and I mean the congressmen,” she added.
While it’s highly unlikely that critics of illegal immigration will get to see anyone hauled away in cuffs at Trump’s SOTU address, they should be pleased to see that Republicans have an impressive guest list of their own.
Police officers, military heroes, and family members of victims of MS-13 gang members are just some of the special guests who will be in attendance is support of the President.

While Calif. Rep. Maxine Waters, along with at least 10 other Democrats vowed to boycott Trump’s speech all together, there has been a push to fill the empty chairs with attendees who many believe are more deserving.
Army Vet Ricky Taylor went public with a plea to take Waters’ seat, and was thrilled when he was offered an invitation by Wisc. Rep. Sean Duffy:

The complete list of guests invited by the White House could not include a more meaningful, impressive cross-section of America.
