GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham addressed a group of illegal immigrant activists after the government shutdown was resolved Monday and enthusiastically told them “We’re back in business.”

“Hey! We’re back in business. Back in business,” Graham said to the crowd of onlookers waiting for him outside the capitol building.

WATCH: 

Graham was said to be working closely behind the scenes with Congressional Democrats, especially those who are running for reelection in red states this November.

President Donald Trump has previous called Graham a “disgrace” and has had several public disagreements with the South Carolina Republican over immigration reform.
