David Clarke, the tough-talking former sheriff of Milwaukee County, slammed the “lying lib media” for claiming he’s currently being investigated by the FBI.
“I am UNINTIMIDATED by lib media attempts to smear and discredit me with their FAKE NEWS reports designed to silence me,” Clarke tweeted. “I will continue to poke them in the eye with a sharp stick and b*tch slap these scum bags til they get it.”

Clarke was responding to press reports that the FBI had executed a search warrant on his personal email account in March 2017 after a man named Dan Black sued him.
Black had filed a lawsuit in February 2017, claiming Clarke abused his power after an encounter on an airplane. Black said Clarke ordered police to detain and interrogate him after he allegedly approached Clarke during a flight to ask if he was indeed Sheriff David Clarke.
Sheriff Clarke said he detained Dan Black because he was concerned about his safety. Clarke presumably gets frequent death threats because he’s a public figure, a black conservative, and a vocal Trump supporter.
In May 2017, the U.S. Attorney’s Office closed the criminal case due to a lack of evidence. However, Dan Black’s civil lawsuit against Clarke is still pending. In August 2017, Clarke resigned as sheriff of Milwaukee County.

While the FBI search of Clarke’s emails occurred in March 2017, the news surfaced just this weekend. Clarke lashed out at the “lying lib media” for claiming he’s under FBI investigation now, and for alleging he abused his power.
Sheriff Clarke said he will not be intimidated into silence.
“They try to silence me by creating FAKE NEWS from LIES to smear me like they did yesterday,” he tweeted. “I don’t back down, I punch back. Bring it scum bags.”

The sheriff concluded his Twitter rant by warning haters that he fights to win and they’d better bring their A-game if they want to take him on.
“You come at me libs you better bring a hard hat, some aspirin and your veggie wrap because it’s going to be a long day,” he tweeted. “I’m going to smack you around until you crawl back to your mom’s basement.”

One thing everyone knows is that David Clarke never backs down from a fight.
Three weeks ago, he laid an epic smackdown on Fox News’ liberal host Eboni Williams while discussing Congressman John Lewis’ boycott of a civil rights museum because President Trump was there.

“John Lewis has become one of the most irrelevant members of Congress!” Sheriff Clarke said, pointing to the record poverty and crime rates in the black community with Democrats at the helm. “No one cares what John Lewis is doing.”
