Disgraced former NBC host Matt Lauer is the second-most searched term on Google in the United States for 2017.
Lauer, who was recently accused of sexual harassment, comes in second on the top 10 list for overall most searched items on Google this year, reported Variety. Other terms and names that made the top 10 list for all searches are: Hurricane Irma, coming in at number one, followed by, Los Vegas Shooting, Hurricane Harvey and the Solar Eclipse.
The former “Today” host also made a separate list where he was number one in regards to top 10 people searched on Google for the United States in 2017. He beat producer Harvey Weinstein on the list, who came in at number three and is accused of sexually harassing at least 80 women.
Lauer is accused of sexually assaulting a female staffer while covering the 2014 Sochi Olympics. He was fired from his NBC gig in November.
