It has been near a year since former President Obama was at the helm of the United States government and leading from behind.
But as is his grand tradition the former president could not resist the opportunity to apologize for America on foreign soil, and take a shot at President Donald Trump at the same time.
At an invitation only event in Paris on Saturday he discussed climate change and told the crowd “I grant you that at the moment we have a temporary absence of American leadership on the issue,” to laughter from the crowd, Reuters reported.
It was a thinly veiled shot at President Trump who, earlier this year, removed the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement.
And while his shot at the United States played well to his French audience it did not make his fellow American citizens happy.
A useless street pamphleteer whose tenure virtually defined bad leadership—ignore him https://t.co/LAeTvWAE9w

LOL this fucking guy…..we were missing American leadership for EIGHT YEARS when he was running things. Now it’s the exact opposite, so of course he’s whining about it.

Sad. From what history will unquestionably judge as the most consequentially awful president in modern American history. Don’t go away mad, just go away. https://t.co/iog1f2eDJ9

What an horrible example of a post presidency! Unlike every other president who stepped back he seems to be fighting to save his failed legacy!
Uhm isn’t he influencing a foreign government? According to the liberals isn’t this treason and a criminal act!!
