The left has pushed “prisoners’ rights” for decades, to the point where inmates not only have TVs and internet in prison, but can even undergo sex change operations on the taxpayer’s dime.
If only the criminals had that kind of consideration for the rights of their victims.
In a case that’s pushing the boundaries further, a convicted killer in Ohio says the prison violated his civil rights by cutting his dreadlocks.
Convicted murderer Cecil Koger claims his Rastafarian faith requires him to keep his hair in dreadlocks, Fox News reported.
The felon argued the repeated cutting of his hair is a civil rights violation. In response, Koger filed a lawsuit last week in which he claimed the prison has allowed other inmates to don dreadlocks.
Additionally, Koger wants the prison to accept Rastafarianism as a religion.
Koger is currently serving a 33-year sentence for aggravated murder and aggravated battery.
Unfortunately, knowing the appeasement mentality of modern prison administrators, Koger will serve a year before being let out for “good behavior”– just so he can be allowed to go back to terrorizing innocents.
During his brief stint in the big house, the prison will probably give in to his demands in order to avoid charges of “racism” or “prejudice.” They’ll likely pander to Koger’s Rastafarianism and provide him legal marijuana on a daily basis.
Koger’s fight to keep his dreadlocks bears resemblance to a case from July, in which a federal appeals court ruled that a Louisiana inmate convicted of sexual battery should not be forced to cut his dreadlocks because it would violate his Rastafarian religion.
Liberals: thank you for creating a country in which cold-blooded killers have more rights and privileges than hard-working, law-abiding citizens.
What about the person he MURDERED, didn’t that person have right’s to?…. it’s prison, cut it all off…….

When he stashes a shank in his hair and hurts someone, maybe they’ll think twice

that is ridiculous, you shouldn’t have any freedoms in prison. You are there for a reason

that is crazy, all the inmates get more special treatment than the law abiding citizens. If they want to work fine if not fine.
