Fox News’ Sean Hannity asked his fans to stop destroying their Keurig machines, saying it’s time for a “cease-fire” with the coffee machine manufacturer, which had pulled its ads from his show.
“Please stop smashing your Keurig coffee machines,” Hannity said Monday (see video.) “[Keurig was] a victim in all this.”
Hannity said Keurig was pressured by the George Soros-funded activist group, Media Matters for America, which he called a “pack of hitmen” trying to silence conservative viewpoints. He said Media Matters is the real villain, not Keurig, which was a pawn.
“[Keurig was] preyed upon by the most anti-free speech, pro-censorship group in the United States today…the radical leftist group Media Matters for America,” Hannity said. “It launched yet another smear campaign against me to try to get me thrown off the air and get rid of all my advertisers.”
Over the weekend, Keurig pulled its ads from Hannity’s show after caving in to pressure from Media Matters. Liberals were offended that Hannity had interviewed controversial Alabama senate nominee Roy Moore, who’s accused of sexual impropriety.
In response, Hannity fans launched an epic boycott of Keurig by smashing the overpriced, environmentally unfriendly coffee makers in hilarious viral videos.
Amid volcanic backlash from consumers (you know, the people who actually buy their products), Keurig’s CEO Bob Gamgort issued a lame apology…to his employees.
Basically, the company apologized — not for pulling its ads in response to leftist blackmail — but for announcing the decision on Twitter and appearing to take sides on political issues.
While liberals mocked Hannity fans for smashing their Keurigs, they thought nothing when their hero, Hillary Clinton, smashed her government-issued cell phones and hard drives with hammers.
The difference between the Keurig boycott and Hillary’s destruction of evidence is that the people who destroyed their Keurigs owned the coffee machines. They destroyed their property.
In Hillary’s case, she and her comrades destroyed Blackberries and hard drives that belonged to the federal government, and therefore, to American taxpayers. She destroyed our property. Without authorization.

Meanwhile, Hannity’s fans made their point, which is that in a free market economy where people can choose from an array of products by different companies, the consumer ultimately calls the shots.
