The First Lady finally got to see the “big, beautiful wall” she was promised by her husband.
On her ten-day visit to Asia, Melania toured The Great Wall of China.
The First Emperor Qin Shi Huang apparently didn’t get the memo 2,200 years ago that “walls don’t work.”
The First Lady took a cable car up to see the behemoth structure.
Her visit was captured on video.
She also walked for 30 minutes up a flight of stairs to see the Mutianyu section of the long wall.
Melania shed her heels and toured the magnificent structure in a pair of flats.
You know it has to be special for the First Lady to kick off her heels.
“This is beautiful, this is amazing,” she said.
Indeed. Maybe someday the United States will have its own “big, beautiful wall.”
