LeBron James just stepped into some slippery social media territory after his exchange with an Instagram model was made public.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward may be in some hot water with his wife after model and hunter Heidi V. Hoback shared his direct message offering to teach her how to “play ball.”
“Athletes slide in girls dms all the time so this isn’t the craziest part but sheesh … biggest buck I’ve ever seen over here,” Hoback wrote in the message about the NBA star’s alleged offer. In screenshots shared by TotalProSports.com, James asked, “Teach me how to hunt and I’ll teach you to play ball. Deal? Lol.”
The 32 year-old father of three has been married to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson since 2013.

The hot Instagram model, hunter, and angler covered her own replies with a bunch of skull emojis, and prompted James to allegedly ask “Where are you?” Hoback addressed comments that the icon in King James’ alleged message differed from that in his official Instagram account.
The model took to YouTube to address the press reports she was “caught up in” and the fact that she did not know James was a married man.
“I honestly was just having a normal day,” Hoback said. “Going over and hunting and then this wild encounter with a buck happened and it just so happened to be right when LeBron DMed me, so I thought I would share that.”
“I took to Snapchat to share it with my followers because I thought it would be a funny story. You know, the message was pretty innocent as far as I know. And then some of my followers informed me that he was married, which I had no clue because I don’t follow him. I wouldn’t consider myself a fan so I wasn’t aware of that at all. I guess that’s why it’s been made into a bigger deal than I originally thought it’d be.”
The Cavaliers superstar may have innocently sent the message to the stunning model but her more than 100,000 Instagram followers would probably not blame him for being struck by the outdoor enthusiast’s beauty.
Hoback left James with a parting offer in her YouTube video.
“If you ever actually do want to go and hunt — you’re more than welcome to bring the whole family out and we can definitely arrange that here in Virginia,” Hoback said.
