Is it even possible that Lady Gaga is the face of political unity in America?
The pop music star posed with all five living former presidents in support of disaster relief efforts over the weekend and America can’t get enough of the photo.
Lady Gaga, known in the real world as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, shared the image on social media.
The tweet included this caption: “Nothing more beautiful than everyone putting their differences aside to help humanity in the face of catastrophe. #OneAmericaAppeal.”

Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter were in attendance for the benefit concert, along with President Donald Trump, who appeared via a taped video message.
The event, titled “Deep from the heart: The One American Appeal,” was held at Texas A&M University.
The fundraising campaign launched by the former presidents in response to several hurricanes has raised $31 million in donations, according to The Hill.
“[T]he One America Appeal today announced its campaign to help Texas, Florida and the Caribbean recover from this catastrophic hurricane season has, to date, raised $31 million in tax-deductible, private funds from over 80,000 donors,” a press release stated.
The response to the photo was epic, including this gem that accurately denotes the power of pop culture in the world today:

Greta Van Susteren had a terrific response as well, posting a photo that cropped out President Carter — if only we had that option in the 70s.
“I didn’t know Lady Gaga had been Pres (where was I?) I thought Carter was one…,” she tweeted.

It’s somewhat scary to think just how close we may actually be to a President Gaga… here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter
Thank you @LadyGaga for your important message of unity and resilience in the wake of this catastrophic hurricane season. @AmericaAppeal https://t.co/YbKBIkK9ne
