Cops can’t seem to nab Colorado’s ‘Mad Pooper’… So, Charmin steps in with an offer she can’t refuse

The Charmin toilet paper company is hoping to coax a suspect out of hiding with a cushy offer.

The company tweeted a message to a jogger wanted by Colorado police and dubbed the “Mad Pooper” by residents of the community where she has been regularly taking a dump in public.

Of course, the offer is only good for the actual poop criminal.

Colorado Springs homeowner Cathy Budde and her family bestowed the “Mad Pooper” title on the woman who has  been photographed by residents in running clothes.

The suspect had relieved herself in front of Budde’s home once a week for nearly two months, and was caught mid-act one time by the Budde children, according to KKTV.

“They are like, ‘There’s a lady taking a poop!’” Budde told KKTV. “So I come outside, and I’m like … ‘Are you serious? Are you really taking a poop right here in front of my kids?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, sorry!’”

Budde cannot understand the woman’s motives and has even tried pleading with her to stop.

“I put a sign on the wall that’s like ‘please, I’m begging you, please stop.’ … She ran by it like 15 times yesterday, and she still pooped,” Budde said.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is baffled by the case.

“It’s abnormal, it’s not something I’ve seen in my career,” Sgt. Johnathan Sharketti told KKTV. “For someone to repeatedly do such a thing … it’s uncharted territory for me.”

The runner could face charges of indecent exposure and public defecation if caught.

“I’ve been here 35 years almost and I can’t recall a case where we have someone making this choice multiple times,” Lt. Howard Black, a spokesperson for the Colorado Springs Police Department told BuzzFeed News. “We need to talk to her to have a better understanding of why these choices are being made.”

As police continue their search, perhaps the “Mad Pooper” will come forward to claim the Charmin offer.

What a way to become famous.

At least Charmin continued to entertain Twitter users while the nation waits for the unveiling of the mystery poopertrator.
