While Irma rages, Los Angeles Times warns Berkeley snowflakes to brace for ‘Hurricane Ben’…Shapiro that is

As residents in Florida braced for Hurricane Irma, snowflakes at Berkeley were preparing for Hurricane Ben.

“Berkeley braces for right-wing talk show host Ben Shapiro’s visit,” the headline of the Los Angeles Times read, as if he is a force of nature.

Shapiro is headed to the University of California-Berkeley for a speech on Sept. 14, which prompted the campus to call for “increased and highly visible police presence” in addition to a “closed perimeter” around the building where he is speaking, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The schools is closing several buildings in the area, and astoundingly, is offering counselling to students who are concerned about the event hosted by the Berkeley College Republicans.

If history is a judge, the security they need is not for conservatives who want to attend the speech, but for the crazed progressives who assault people on campus that happen to attend speeches by conservatives.

Riots happened on campus in February when provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was set to speak, prompting the event to be cancelled.

And in March, supporters of President Donald Trump were brutally attacked as they marched.

Considering that, social media mocked the alarmist headline.
