‘It feels like a prison’: Residents mad at confinement while J-Lo tapes Macy’s July 4th fireworks show

Independence for me, but not for thee.

James Edstrom, who said cars were “being towed,” told Page Six tight security around the event makes life impossible.

Explaining that his building will be “in a frozen zone,” Edstrom said residents are not allowed to leave the property after 1 p.m. on the Fourth of July.

CNN’s Jim Acosta responds POTUS tweet, Donald Trump Jr. makes him regret it

“Homeland Security allows us to have four guests, but they have to be here by 1 p.m.,” he said.

“It feels like a prison,” Edstrom insisted. “The mayor is having a party on the roof of the adjacent school — so I am locked in my building and all I can do is watch Mayor de Blasio party on a roof.”

And while the locals may not be thrilled, Lopez seemed to be enjoying herself at the taping.

The diva was caught sucking face with her new boyfriend, retired New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, the New York Post reported — let’s hope the ex-player doesn’t have to rely on performance enhancing drugs to please his new squeeze.
