CNN hires sketch artist for pressers, but guess who gave them the asinine idea?

It doesn’t get any more ridiculous than this.

In response to the White House prohibiting cameras from its daily briefings, CNN decided to send a courtroom sketch artist on Friday, CNN reported.

Bill Hennessy, the network’s regular sketch artist for Supreme Court proceedings, headed over to the White House on Friday afternoon and drew Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s afternoon briefing.

He didn’t have his usual easel, but he stood in the back of the briefing room to document the scene.

Hennessy’s sketches aren’t exclusive to CNN; other news outlets may also use them.

What is more curious is that the suggestion to use a sketch artist was made on Thursday by former Hillary Clinton staffer Adam Parkhomenko on social media.

Even more suspect, Parkhomenko alerted CNN’s senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta to his idea.

And they wonder why some call it the Clinton News Network.
