Fmr first lady of France throws shade on Melania: My nude pics were ‘more artistic’ than hers, not ‘Playboy-ish’

France’s former first lady, Carla Bruni, took the time during a recent interview to again dismiss old rumors of an alleged relationship with Donald Trump.

…and to throw shade at first lady Melania Trump over nude photos.

Trump was seeing Marla Maples at the time and was reportedly leaving her to be with Bruni. He would later admit in his biography, “Lost Tycoon,” that he started spreading the rumor that they were in a relationship after Bruni rebuffed him.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the former super-model denounced it all as “a lie.”

“The whole situation was very vague and just did not exist,” the wife of former French President Nicholas Sarkozy said. “So I was very surprised when he went to the press.”

Looking to get her to dish more on President Trump, the Daily Beast asked Bruni if she was “upset” that when here name is Googled, one of the first things that comes up is the “ridiculous Trump rumor?”

“That’s because it was a lie,” she replied. “Maybe it’s American Google, because if it’s French Google, other things come up—mostly my man, my work, my younger pictures. But I’m glad there’s not much about my children. I’ve been able to protect them.”

Bruni commented on a nude photograph of herself that surfaced after she married Sarkozy in 2007 and how that was different from nude photos of Melania Trump that were displayed in the media last year during the presidential campaign.

Ever so subtly, Bruni noted that her photo was “more artistic.”

“It was very different because I had quite a bit of fame from my modeling and my first album,” Bruni said. “So when I married [Sarkozy], they went rahhhhh. They just went crazy. And I’m from France and Italy, so to me, making artistic naked pictures wasn’t a problem. I was not ashamed at all.

“And the picture was from when I was 20 years old, before I had children, so I thought, ‘Well, I look good,‘” she continued. “Plus, I don’t have that overly sexy body. I’ve always been very thin and sort of teenage-looking, so my nude pictures were never Playboy-ish. They were more artistic nudes made by great photographers.”

Touché.
