Rachel Maddow finally admits a Trump, Russia reality that libs aren’t going to like

“And the truth shall set you free.”

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow admitted that President Trump and his campaign staff may have had no knowledge of any attempts by the Russian Federation to hack into and affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Although she believed there was circumstantial evidence that would indicate the Trump camp colluded with Russia, there was nothing definitive, and that it was “absolutely” possible it may have gone on without their knowledge.

“I mean, Russia clearly did this attack, and there’s lots of circumstantial evidence that points at lots of unexplained and surreptitious contact between Trump people and Russian people at the time that was happening,” she said. “But circumstantial evidence is circumstantial evidence. This is a serious thing that needs to be chased down to the end.”

The MSNBC host made her assessment during an interview published Wednesday in Rolling Stone.

She did add, however, that if collusion did in fact exist, it would be a much bigger deal than, say, the recent New York Times report that Health and Human Secretary Tom Price allegedly engaged in some dubious haealth care stock trades.

“If this presidency is knowingly the product of a foreign intelligence operation, that’s not Tom Price trading stocks that he was also affecting the price of as a public official, you know?” she said. “That is a full-stop national crisis.”
