Finally, someone says it! Sen Cotton throws in an unexpected question

“Do you like Jason Bourne or James Bond movies?”

Apparently, Attorney General Jeff Sessions does, but wasn’t exactly prepared to answer such a question.

Sen Tom Cotton fired up Session’s testimony when he blasted his Congressional colleagues for not directly asking if President Trump ever directly “colluded” with the Russians.

Cotton wondered while months of relentless speculation and conspiracy has taken over political discourse, no one wants to ask the question.

Did Donald Trump or any of his associates “collude” with the Russians?

“That’s where we started six months ago,” Cotton said. Cotton continued by saying Democrats have gone through “lots of rabbit trails” but have avoided asking that direct question.

He rattled off a list of spy movies and novels to ask Sessions if he’d ever heard as great of a diabolic plot as the ones Dems manufactured about Republican collusion with Russia.

“Have you ever in any of these fantastical situations, heard of a plot line so ridiculous that a sitting United States senator and an ambassador of a foreign government colluded in an open setting with hundreds of other people to pull off the greatest caper in the history of espionage?”

Sessions thanked Cotton for pointing out the absurdity and replied, “I mean, what is this?”

Their exchange infuriated Dems:
