Harkening back to a time when men were men and… well, dames were dames, actress Goldie Hawn has stirred up a hornet’s nest with her recent take on the opposite sex.
…a take that contradicts the view many feminists hold today.
‘I’m not a prude,” Hawn said in an interview with Radio Times, according to the Daily Mail. “I know what’s out there and it seems to be the way that things might be moving, but women today aren’t how I was.”
“I liked to be pursued and I liked a male-female dance,” she added. “I still do.”
The 71-year-old actress is not married, but has been in an enduring 34 year romance with actor Kurt Russell.

And Hawn has a forgiving attitude toward philandering men who can’t seem to help themselves — as for Russell, she told Entertainment Weekly last week she “could tell right away he wasn’t a womanizer.”
“Men are men. It’s how we handle it,” she said. “I wouldn’t want testosterone running through my veins, I really wouldn’t.”

Feminist heads exploded across America over what came next.
“Women are not built the way men are,” Hawn said. “Men are designed to spread their seed, that’s how they propagated the world. So forgiveness is important.”
The actress was adamant that women should never let a man take advantage of them.
“If you start getting groped then absolutely you fight back,” she said. “You do not allow that to happen.”
Nature notwithstanding, social media users called Hawn’s views “sexist,” and a real debate broke out over which gender cheated more.

@GMB Wow, that’s so incredibly sexist

@GMB Both sexes have the capacity to cheat. It’s not about gender, it’s about ego’s, selfishness and entitlement.
— Angie Mchale (@AngieMchale) May 16, 2017
@GMB cheating isn’t gender specific. Cheating is about lack if respect, loyalty and commitment. Things our society lack nowadays.

@GMB More sexism hidden under the ludicrous facade of so-called feminism

@GMB Completely disagree. Women cheat just as much as men. It’s just people are attracted to arrogance. Those people tend to cheat.

@GMB A man can’t cheat without a woman , it’s just the woman knows how to hide the smile when she gets home
