First Lady Melania Trump is a socialite, former model and fashion icon. But her top priority is being a mom to son Barron, 11.

On Mother’s Day, we honor moms around the world for their love, sacrifice and devotion. Raising a child takes a village, but some moms who can afford to employ an army of nannies choose instead to be more hands-on, like Melania.

Melania, who has called motherhood “the most important job ever,” said she’s a proud full-time mom who employs no nannies and takes Barron to and from school herself.

“I am a full-time mom; that is my first job. The most important job ever,” Melania told Parenting. “I cook him breakfast. Bring him to school. Pick him up. Prepare his lunch. I spend the afternoon with him.”

Melania said her No. 1 secret to being a good mom is listening. “I think the No. 1 parenting secret is that it is so important to have a good listening skills,” she said.

Trump added: “I listen to what Barron says, what troubles him and what he is excited about. Then I can guide and support. I don’t push my thoughts or likes or dislikes. I want him to grow to be his own person. I think is important to give a child room to make mistakes in order to learn.”

Melania made headlines earlier this year after postponing her move into the White House until after Barron finishes his school year in Manhattan. Sources say Melania and Barron will move to Washington over the summer.

In the fall, Barron is expected to enroll in the prestigious St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in suburban Maryland, the Mirror reported. St. Andrew’s tuition tops $38,000 a year, but the school has small classes (ranging from 11 to 15 students), and only 580 students total. This will likely give Barron the privacy he needs and deserves at this point in his young life.

The Trumps’ decision to send Barron to St. Andrew’s is a departure from what the Obamas and Clintons did. Barack and Michelle Obama’s daughters, Sasha and Malia, attended Sidwell Friends School in D.C. Hillary and Bill Clinton did the same with Chelsea.

Meanwhile, fans shared their favorite Twitter photos of Melania Trump, Barron and The Donald over the years.

And Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms around the world! Thank you for all you do each and every day. ???
