Sarah Huckabee freaks out libs and DEMOLISHES Dems, media over ‘anticipated’ Comey backlash

Sarah Huckabee Sanders took aim and fired at Democrats who are bent on opposing everything that President Trump says or does.

In the first White House briefing since Trump fired FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday, the deputy Press Secretary minced no words when responding to a question about the president’s agenda in light of the “heightened political environment.”

“Frankly I’m surprised that it did create a divide since you have so many Republicans and Democrats repeatedly calling for Director Comey to be gone,” Huckabee Sanders began.

While liberals repeatedly responded to Huckabee on social media as a “liar” for her brutal honesty, conservatives ate it up.

“Frankly, I don’t think it matters what this president says, you’re going to have Democrats come out and fight him every single step of the way,” she continued. “I think that’s one of the things that’s wrong with Washington and I think that’s one of the reasons that we’ve got to get back to focusing on those issues and frankly draining the swamp a little bit further.”

Huckabee Sanders, who is filling in for Press Secretary Sean Spicer at this week’s press briefings, attempted to move on but was asked if Trump anticipated the backlash from Democrats.

A highlight of the exchange was when the 34 year-old daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee unleashed a scathing rebuttal, delivered in an unexpectedly level tone.

“How could he have, considering the fact that most of the people declaring war today were the very ones begging for Director Comey to be fired,” she shot back.

She topped off her response by calling out the hypocrisy of Democrats, noting what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had been elected president.

“She would have fired Comey immediately and the very Democrats that are criticizing the president today would be dancing in the streets celebrating,” Huckabee Sanders said. “So I think it;s just the purest form of hypocrisy.”

The fact that Sean Spicer ceded Wednesday’s press briefing to Huckabee Sanders raised speculation about whether the White House press secretary is on his way out. A new report this week indicated that Huckabee Sanders may be in a trial period to determine if she will replace Spicer whose handling of the news of Comey’s firing did not please the president.
