The Democrat mayor of one of America’s most liberal cities is under fire for allegedly molesting crack addicted teens in the 1980s.

A new lawsuit alleged that Mayor Ed Murray, 61, repeatedly “raped and molested” a 15-year-old boy after they met on a bus in 1986, the Seattle Times reported.

The lawsuit, filed by the now 46-year-old man identified only by his initials D.H., claimed that Murray abused the teen several times and paid the crack addicted youth $10 – $20 in each instance.

“I have been dealing with this for over 30 years,” the man, now sober for a year, the man said in an interview with The Seattle Times.

He called coming out with his story a step in the “healing process” after years of dealing with “the shame, the embarrassment, the guilt, the humiliation that I put myself through and that he put me through.”

The mayor, who is running for re-election, denied the allegations in a statement from his spokesman Jeff Reading, and cancelled a Thursday news conference.

“These false accusations are intended to damage a prominent elected official who has been a defender of vulnerable populations for decades. It is not a coincidence that this shakedown effort comes within weeks of the campaign filing deadline. These unsubstantiated assertions, dating back three decades, are categorically false. Mayor Murray has never engaged in an inappropriate relationship with any minor. … Mayor Murray will vigorously fight these allegations in court,” it read.

But D.H. is one of several people who have made sexual abuse allegations against the mayor.

Jeff Simpson accused Murray of abusing him when he was a teenager in a home for troubled children in Portland. He made the allegations in 1984 but no charges were filed in the case, the Times reported.

Lloyd Anderson, who was raised in the same home as Simpson, raised the same accusations more than a decade ago.

Both Simpson and Anderson have said they are willing to testify in court on the matter.

“The two older accusations were promoted by extreme right-wing anti-gay activists in the midst of the marriage equality campaign, and were thoroughly investigated and dismissed by both law

enforcement authorities and the media,” the statement by Reading said, and the Times pointed out that all 3 men have criminal records.

D.H. told the Times that Murray paid him for sexual services as a minor around 50 times.

“And there’s times he would be doing certain things and I would tell him to stop and he wouldn’t stop, and I let it happen because I wanted that money so I can go get those drugs,” he said.

The Times said the lawsuit has details of Murray’s apartment, phone number and genitals.

“I would really like for him to admit it and to take responsibility …” Simpson told the Times. “I don’t necessarily think that he destroyed my life, but I believe a lot of the problems I have stemmed from this.”

It’s on! Ethics complaint filed against Adam Schiff; will he respond with same honor as did Devin Nunes?

Simpson said it was hard for him to come out with this story because “He’s the only parent that I know, as messed up as that is.”
