White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon will not be ousted from the White House without a fight.
As rumors swirl that the ouster of Bannon, and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, is imminent, the strategist is getting set for battle.
A number of members of President Donald Trump’s administration have told The Daily Beast that Bannon has started to refer to the president’s son-in-law, and advisor, Jared Kushner a “globalist” and “cuck.”
The sources said Bannon and Kushner have been engaged in a consistent battle in which they get into “face to face” confrontations, the Daily Beast reported.
“[Steve] recently vented to us about Jared being a ‘globalist’ and a ‘cuck’…He actually said ‘cuck,’ as in ‘cuckservative,’” the source told the Beast.
On Thursday, a day after he was removed from the National Security Council, Bannon told associates “I love a gunfight” in response to the fact that Kushner, and first daughter Ivanka Trump, want him out, Axios reported.
But Bannon continues to have powerful allies of his own.
“Steve has developed strong and important relationships with some of the most powerful right-leaning business leaders,” an ally of the former Breitbart editor, who is not a part of the White House, said. “I see some bad press in [Kushner’s] future.”
Shep quick to slap up old tweets to try and shame Trump, promptly gets spanked by a general instead
